Gates open at 9am

First race 10:30am Last Race 4pm
The day will hold 10 Camel races and 2 children’s foot race
More information will be supplied at a later date to confirm
how many races this will depend on the availability of the Camel masters.

10.30 - 4.00pm
  • Activities, displays, exhibits, Children’s activities all day,
    indoor and outdoor
  • Races 1 - 10  30 minute breaks between races
  • 4 heats
  • Consolation Race 400m sprint
  • Camel Plate 400m sprint
  • Camel Cup 400m sprint
  • Open 400 m sprint
  • Local Jockeys race
  • Open Marathon 800 m
  • Race winner presentation, at the completion of each race.
4.00pm Last race & Presentations
4.30pm Whip cracking demonstration
Corporate ticket holders will move out side to see whip cracking
demonstration by Wayne Campbell, followed by the
grand display of  Fire Works
5.00pm Bonfire to start in the centre of race track (Officials only)

6.30pm Finish
Powers Bus Line: shuttle bus leaves for town
